Port Barre- A Funeral Service will be held for, Mrs. Yvonne Guillory Artigue, on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Port Barre; visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 2:30 p.m. Reverend Clint Trahan will conduct the service.

Yvonne, age 44, a resident of Port Barre, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at her residence. She loved spending time with her family, friends and playing with her beloved pets. Yvonne dedicated her life to taking care of others as an LPN and therapeutic massage therapist. In her free time, she enjoyed watching true crime TV. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, James "Jamie" Artigue, Jr. of Port Barre; mother, Dolly Vidrine of Port Barre; father, James Ricky Guillory of Port Barre; maternal grandfather, James Fontenot of Port Barre; mother-in-law, Nancy Artigue; brother, Michael Sonnier (Tiffany) of Kirbyville, TX; sister, Lisa G. Alexander (Herman) of Port Barre; sisters-in-law, Cheri Artigue (Paul) of Port Barre, and Vikki Arnaud (Jerry) of Port Barre; "special daughters", Samantha Deville and Lindsey Cortez; godchild, Darin Bourroughs and Courtney Lalonde; god-grandchildren, Armani "Posqually" Burroughs and Dontasia "Squirrel" Burroughs; and 8 nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Ethel Fontenot; paternal grandfather, Jack Guillory; paternal grandmother, Louella Scruggins; brother, James Ricky Guillory, Jr.; step-mother, Lana Guillory; and godchild, Delana Levier Reed, Father-in-law; James Earl Artigue.
