Wilson Fontenot

Mallet A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at St. Ann Catholic Church in Mallet for Mr. Wilson Fontenot, known to many as TeeO. Rev. Fr. Susaimanickam Justin Arockiasamy, SVD, will celebrate the Mass.

Wilson was born in Mallet, LA. He was a native and longtime resident of Lawtell, LA. He passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013, at Opelousas General Health System at the age of 74. He was a carpenter for many years. He was a loving husband and caring father, grandfather, brother, grandfather, and friend. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Louisiana Louise Golbert Fontenot of Lawtell one son, Shane M. Fontenot of Opelousas one daughter, Tammy A. Fontenot and husband, Nilay Mitash of Plano, TX two sisters, Rose Golbert of Crowley and Gersey Auzenne of Lawtell and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Melinda Fontenot his parents, Charles Abner Fontenot and Mary Versey Frilot Fontenot and three brothers, Auther, Clarence, and Ernest Fontenot.

Family gathering will be held in the St. Ann Catholic Church of Mallet on Tuesday, November 26, 2013, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
