Wilkerson Ned, Jr.

Opelousas-A Mass of Christian Burial for Wilkerson Joseph Ned, Jr. will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2015, in Holy Family Catholic Church. Rite of Committal and interment will follow in the Holly Family Cemetery.

Mr. Joseph a resident at Opelousas, he died on Monday, February 23, 2015, at the age of 70. He enjoyed volunteering his time at the church help with funerals and weddings. He loved to Bar-B-Que for his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria Ned of Lawtell, brothers, Charles Ned of Opelousas, Irvin Ned of Lawtell and Calvin Ned of Lawtell, sisters, Nita Cormier and husband, Dennis of Carencro, Earline Lewis and husband, Harace of Scott, Sylvia Ned of Lawtell and Cynthia Ned of Lawtell.


Preceded in death by his parents, Wilkerson Sr., and Mable Frank Ned, brother, Aaron Ned.

Visiting hours will be held in the Holy Family Catholic Church of Lawtell on Saturday, February 28, 2015, from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a rosary at 9:00 a.m.
