Weston Winn, Sr.

Opelousas Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Unity Baptist Church in Opelousas, for Mr. Weston Winn, Sr. Interment will follow in the St. Leo Cemetery in Leonville. Rev. Greg Gaspard will officiate the services.

Mr. Weston was a resident of Opelousas. He passed away at his home, on May 16, 2013, at the age of 73. Mr. Weston was a very loving husband, father and grandfather and is going to be sadly missed by all that knew him.

Mr. Weston is survived by his wife, Mary Winn of Opelousas son, Weston Winn, Jr. and wife, Kristie Schwab of Houma daughter, Nicole Winn of Rayne stepson, Glynn Stelly and wife, Connie of Opelousas stepdaughter, Janice Hebert and husband, Ricky of Opelousas brother, Ricky Winn of Cade sister, Verna Winn of Opelousas grandchildren, Harley, Paige, Mason, Kalen, Deziree, Christian six stepgrandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Mr. Weston was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Elda Begnaud Winn son, Robert Winn and daughter, Jennifer Lynn Winn.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Unity Baptist Church on Friday, May 17, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will reopen at the church on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
