Opelousas A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 23, 2013, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel for Warren Junius Wyble. Rite of Committal and interment will follow in the St. Landry Cemetery. Deacon Dwayne Joubert will officiate the service.
Warren was a native of New Orleans and resident of Lafayette. He died peacefully at his home, at the age of 82.
Warren enjoyed wood working, gardening, and going to flea markets. He was loving brother that will be sadly missed.
Survivors include is wife, Mercedes Romero Wyble of Lafayette, sons, Mark Wyble and fianc, Toni Smith of Lafayette, and John Brent Wyble and wife, Marcia of Opelousas, brother, Joseph Wyble and wife, Ronnie of Opelousas, sister, Frances Bordelon and husband, Hushel of Washington, half sister, Margurite Fontenot and husband, Johnny of Opelousas, four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, P.J. and Anna Morrow Wyble, his first wife, Mary Ethel Wyble, his daughter, Diana Faye Laneaux, and half sister, Lee Alice Hebert.
Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Friday, August 23, 2013, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
A Rosary service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home.
