Port Barre Funeral services for Virgie Lanclos, 80, will be held at 10:00AM Saturday, March 31, 2007, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Port Barre. Interment will follow in the Church Mausoleum.

The Reverend Nicky Trahan will conduct the services.

Ms. Virgie Lanclos, a resident of J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home in Arnaudville and a native of Pecanierre, died on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at her residence.

Miss Virgie was always happy go lucky and always had a smile on her face. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by two brothers, John Floyd and Joseph Harold Lanclos, both of Pecaniere, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other close family members.

Ms. Lanclos was preceded in death by her parents, Adlar Lanclos and Leonia Chautin; two brothers, Wilfred and Cleveland Blue Lanclos; and one sister, Anna Belle Lantz.

Visiting hours will be observed on Friday, March 30, 2007 from 9:00AM to 9:00PM and re-open on Saturday at 8:00AM until service time. A rosary will be recited at 7:00PM on Friday.
