Violette Sibille

Opelousas A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at Sibille Funeral Home Chapel for Violette Huckaby Sibille. Rite of Committal and interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery. Father Paul Metrejean will officiate the service.
Violette was a resident of Opelousas. She passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2013, at Opelousas General Health System at the age of 84.
Violette retired after 33 years working for South Central Bell Telephone Company.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Mr. Edward Francis Sibille of Opelousas, son, Clint Sibille and his wife, Melissa, of Tallahasse, FL., daughter, Allison Sibille of Opelousas, sister, Willow Dean McBride of Church Point, grandchildren, Lauren, Alayna and Seth Sibille of Tallahasse, Fl.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Rosella Delahoussay Huckaby, daughter, Dawn Patrice Sibille son, Gary Sibille, sisters, Mary Lee Huckaby, Melba Huckaby, and Wynona Bellard.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home on Tuesday October 8, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
A rosary service will be on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
