Vickie Andrus

Opelousas- A Funeral Service for Vickie Andrus will be held at a later date.

Vickie, a member of the Opelousas community and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully at her residence. She was born on March 22, 1955, in Opelousas, and entered into eternal rest on November 4, 2023. 

Vickie is survived by her husband of 34 years, Allen Joseph Andrus of Opelousas; her only son, Allen Daniel Andrus of Opelousas and his wife, Crystal Dawn Andrus; and their children, Anna, Ayden, Aubrie, Kaleb and Connor; and their companions, Saige and Aria.

Vickie is preceded in death by her parents, Murphy and Yvonne Ledoux of Opelousas; and her brother, Sheldon Ledoux all of Opelousas.

Her legacy lives on in each memory shared by family and friends, as well as in the hearts she touched during his time on Earth. Though we mourn her passing, let us also celebrate Vickie’s remarkable life- a life that will forever be etched in our hearts.
