Versy Briley

Opelousas A Memorial Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2014, in Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas for Mrs. Versy Marie Taylor Briley. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park. Father James Brady will celebrate the services.
Mrs. Versy was a long time resident of Lafayette, LA, and was currently residing in Pearland, TX, for the last five years. She passed away on October 22, 2013, in Pearland, TX.
Survivors include her husband, Hubert Joseph Briley of Pearland, TX two sons, Randall Briley of Nashville, TN and Glenn Briley of Raleigh, NC one daughter, Kathy Traylor of Friendswood, TX one sister, Birdie Stelly of Birmingham, AL and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and one sister.
The family gathering hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Saturday, January 4, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
