Opelousas- A graveside service for Vernon Alton Lee will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Washington.
Vernon, age 90, a resident of Opelousas, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Eunice Manor Nursing Home.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Joanne Mckee Lee of Opelousas; daughter, Judy Lee of Farmersville, CA and Anne Lee of Opelousas; son Jerry Alton Lee and wife, Virginia Rose of Bayou Current, LA; grandchildren, Erin Quinn, Stacy James, Michael James and Melissa Lee; 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John Lee and Jenny Franklin Lee; and grandson, Kevin Lee.
