Opelousas A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Ursula Olivier Stout, age 89, will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Rev. Msgr. Paul Metrejean will celebrate the Mass. Private Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas.
Mrs. Ursula was a native of Church Point and was a longtime resident of Opelousas. She passed away at Opelousas General Health System on Sunday, June 8, 2014.
She cherished her time with family and especially spending time with her grandchildren. In her later years, she enjoyed reading and watching old movies. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who taught unconditional love and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter and only child, Linda Jo Harper Stout Daigle of Opelousas two grandsons whom she loved as if she bore them, Ted Rayborn of Houston, TX and Rob Rayborn and wife, Nicole of Post Falls, Idaho one sister, Ann Olivier Estillette of Lafayette one godchild, Wiley Conn whom Linda loves like a brother of Mandeville one grandson, John Robert Rayborn of Post Falls, Idaho three granddaughters, Teddi Elizabeth Rayborn and Izabella Claire Rayborn, both of Ponchatoula and Janae Rayborn of Post Falls, Idaho three nephews, Wiley Conn of Mandeville Bob Conn of Metairie and Michael Estillette of Lafayette two nieces, Lisa Everett and Marla Holbert, both of Lafayette and a host of brothersinlaw, sistersinlaw, nieces, and nephews from her loving Stout family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Newton Stout parents, Florent Olivier and Anna Leger Olivier one sister, Clara Conn and brotherinlaw, C. W. Conn.
A family gathering will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas.
