Troy Anthony Boudreaux

Opelousas Funeral services for Mr. Troy Anthony Boudreaux, age 38, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2007, with a Mass of Christian Burial in the St. Bridget Catholic Church in Lawtell. Interment will follow in the St. Bridget Cemetery. Father Daniel Picard will officiate the services.

Troy was born in Gainesville, Florida and was a resident of Church Point. He died on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at his residence. He graduated from LSUE with an Associate Degree in Environmental Science. He was employed in the oilfield industry as an environmentalist.

He enjoyed spending quality time with his children and extended family. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing as a pastime. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his son, Nicholas Boudreaux of New Iberia; his daughter, Caitlin Boudreaux of New Iberia; his parents: Levy and Ruth Jagneaux Boudreaux of Lawtell; three brothers: Robert Boudreaux and wife, Millie of Huffman, TX; Brent Boudreaux and wife, Stacey of Aurora, Colorado; and Shannon Boudreaux and wife, Amy of Pensacola, Florida; one nephew, and four nieces.

He is also survived by a very special friend, Patricia Young of Ville Platte.

Visiting hours will be observed on Wednesday, November 7, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas. On Thursday, visitation will continue from 8:00 a.m. until time of services in the funeral home.

A rosary will be recited at 7:00p.m. on Wednesday evening in the funeral home.
