Travis Janise

A Funeral Service for Travis Wade Janise will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas. Pastor Perry Hubbs and Rev. Woody Janise will conduct the service. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Travis, age 50, a resident of Port Barre, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at Opelousas General Hospital surrounded by his family. Travis was an avid LSU football fan, he loved watching every game surrounded by his family, friends and good food that he prepared.

Travis is survived by his parents, Hammie and Anna Janise; one son, Cameron Wade Janise; one daughter, Savannah Marie Janise; two brothers, Woody (Emily) Janise of Shreveport and Kevin (Randi) Janise of Port Barre and numerous nieces and nephews.

Travis is Preceded in death by his Wife, Brandy Guillory Janise; grandparents, Harry and Ella Mae Henry Janise and Luke and Lydia Miller Thibodeaux.
