Tobias James Colligan

Opelousas Funeral services for Mr. Tobias James Colligan, age 29, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2007, in the St. Landry Catholic Church . Interment will follow in the Bellevue Cemetery in Opleousas.

Msgr. Robert Romero will celebrate the Mass.

Tobias was a native and long-time resident of Opelousas. He died on Tuesday, November 27, 2007, in Opelousas. He was employed as a lawnman with Billy's Lawn Care.

Survivors include his son, Brice James Joseph Colligan; his daughter, Victoria Nicole Colligan, both of Eunice; his mother, Joann Colligan Parker and stepfather, John F. Parker of Opelousas; one brother, Joseph Mark LeDoux of Opelousas; maternal grandmother, Theresa Corena Lanclos of Church Point; and maternal step grandmother, Ruby Parker; uncles: Sylvester, Daniel, Dennis, Sedonia, and Fred Colligan; aunt and uncle: Bill and Pat of Mandeville; and a host of extended family.

Tobias was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Visiting hours will be observed from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm on Thursday, November 29, 2007, in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas. On Friday, visitation will continue from 8:00 am until 2:30 p.m.

A rosary service will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday in the funeral home.

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family to help defray the funeral expenses.
