Timothy Tim Joseph Savoie, Sr.

Opelousas- Memorial Funeral services for Mr. Timothy Tim Joseph Savoie, Sr. age 54, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2009, in the United Pentecostal Church in Opelousas.

Bro. Alan Spence will officiate the services.

Tim was a native of New Orleans and was a resident of Port Barre. He died on Wednesday, December 9, 2009, at his residence. He worked as a cook offshore for many years. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Diaville Savoie of Port Barre; one son, Timothy J. Savoie, Jr. and wife, Sara of Port Barre; mother, Lilly Gautreaux Bihm of Opelousas; father, Marion L. Savoie, Sr. of Nicholson, Mississippi; five brothers: Marion L. Savoie, Jr. and wife, Sharon of Deerborn, Michigan; Mark Savoie and wife, Darla of Opelousas; Ty Bihm and wife, Melanie of Independence, LA; Randy Bihm and wife, Lorraine of Plano, Texas; and Ricky Bihm and wife, Jean of Portland, Oregon; one sister, Deborah Billiodeaux and husband, Tom of Opelousas; and two grandchildren: Blake and Gavin Savoie, both of Port Barre.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Newton Bihm.

Visiting hours will be observed in the United Pentecostal Church, 1445 Judson Walsh Drive, Opelousas on Saturday, December 12, 2009, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m.
