Thomas Sibille

Grand Coteau A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 1, 2012, at St. Charles Catholic Church, for Thomas Wayne Tommy Sibille. Rite of Committal and interment followed in the St. Charles Mausoleum in Grand Coteau.

Tommy was a native of Sunset a long time resident of Bossier City, he passed away on August 31, 2012, age of 62, at Maison de Lafayette Nursing Home. He was Jockey Agent for 30 years and a Graded Stakes Coordinator for the last four years at Louisiana Downs. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his mother Lydia Savoie Sibille, of Lafayette, his brother, Gino Sibille and his wife, Ann of Lafayette, and his sister Jan Sibille Gillum and her husband, Randy of Lafayette, his nephews, Hunter and Chase Sibille, and his nieces, Ammie Robinson and her husband, Brandon, Crissy Green and her husband, Sy and Mandy Stephens and her husband, Thomas.

He was preceded in death by his father Horaist Sibille, his paternal grand parents Walter Joseph and Marie Louise Horaist Sibille, his maternal grand parents Joseph Deogene and Constance Burleigh Savoie.

Visiting hours will be observed on Friday, August 31, 2012, beginning at 5 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Grand Coteau. On Saturday, visitation will continue from 8 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening in the funeral home.
