Opelousas Funeral services for Therese Dale Pollingue, age 55, were held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, January 8, 2010, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the St. Landry Cemetery.
Msgr. Robert Romero officiated the services.
Therese was a past resident of Opelousas. She died on January 7, 2010, at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.
Survivors include her mother, Lois Larcade Pollingue of Opelousas three brothers: Eugene Pollingue, Jr. of West Palm Beach, Florida David Pollingue of Opelousas and Barry Pollingue of Baton Rouge and three sisters: Mary Louise Nichols of Waco, Texas Ann Pollingue of Opelousas and Constance Pollingue of Opelousas.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Francis Pollingue.
Visiting hours were observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Friday, January 8, 2010, from 1:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m.
