Terry Caswell

Terry Pop Caswell Dragon of Port Barre, Louisiana, died at the age of 60 on October 15th, 2009 at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans.

Terry was the husband of Del Melancon Caswell, father of Jason Caswell, son of Leo Paul Caswell and Delta Trahan, stepson of Celine Dore, step-father of Daniela Richard Hargett, Troy Richard Arte Richard, and father-in-law of Mary Hutchison Richard Tonya Michelle Reed. Terry had five grand-children: Caroline Caswell, Lloyd Hargett, III, Victoria Elaine Hargett, Lola Hargett Emily Vivian Richard. Terry also had 1 great-grandchild, Kristopher Hargett.

Terry served two tours in Vietnam. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and The Army Commendation Medal.

Terry was good ol hard-working oil-field trash. On the rare off-days you could find him spending time with his family, cruising the open roads on his motorcycle, or tinkering in his shed. Terry was a kid at heart who loved Halloween and would always have the best-decorated, scariest house on the block.

Friends of Terry are asked to join the family for a Celebration of Life party Sunday, October 18th at the family home in Port Barre, 104 Nick Drive, from 11am until Midnight.

Well have a good time sharing stories. Well laugh a lot, cry a little, and well send Terry off the way he wanted.

The family asks that you honor Terrys memory by thanking a veteran and remembering those who still havent returned.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre.
