Opelousas Funeral Services for Telicia Watkins, age 45, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 18, 2010, with a service in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the St. Louis Cemetery in Eunice, LA. Rev. Benny Reppond will conduct the Service.
Telicia was a resident of Opelousas. She died on Thursday, October 14, 2010. She was a graduate of Comeaux High School. Then, she attended Beauty School and Hairstylist College and began her career as a Professional Hair Stylist. She was employed at Ramp Speyrers Cut Loose Salon as a hairstylist.
Survivors are her husband, Donald Watkins of Opelousas her mother, Jean Maher Richard and her husband, Gurvis of Port Barre one son, Tye Christian Saucier of Opelousas one daughter, Krysta Shay Savant of Scott, LA her brothers: Chad Savant of Dupont Lyle Savant of Baton Rouge and Bobby Savant, Jr. of Breaux Bridge one sister, Brandi Stokes of Lafayette and two grandchildren, Gabriel Stoute and Avah Cox.
Preceded in death by her father, Alfred Bobby Savant.
Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Sunday, October 17, 2010, beginning at 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will reopen on Monday at 8:00 a.m. until time of services at 11:00 a.m.
