Taylor Deville

OPELOUSAS – A Mass of Christian for Taylor Beaud Deville will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Opelousas; the rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. in the church. Msgr. Keith DeRouen will celebrate the mass. Rite of Committal will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas.

Taylor, age 32, a resident of Opelousas, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at his residence.

Taylor was an avid sports fan; he loved going to LSU football games and watching soccer. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his father, Sterling Francis Deville and wife, Lisa of Opelousas; brother, Sterling Drew Deville of Opelousas; maternal grandmother, Winnie Wheeler and husband, Clay of Ball, LA; aunts, Deborah Roesch of Pensacola, FL, Trena Irby and husband, Kirt of Ball, LA; and uncle, Ted Wheeler of Ball, LA.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Connie Wheeler Deville.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas.
