Opelousas Funeral services for Mrs. Tammy Lalonde Johnson will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at First Baptist Church in Opelousas. Rev. Perry Hubbs will conduct the services.

Tammy was born in Sulphur and a longtime resident of Opelousas. She passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014, at her residence at the age of 53. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her children, Darrin Johnson and wife, Eliska of Opelousas and Lindsay Johnson of Opelousas her mother, Norma Jean Doucet Lalonde of Opelousas one brother, Gordon Lalonde, Jr. and wife, Mandy Bourque Lalonde of New Orleans former husband and friend, Lenny Johnson of Opelousas and nine grandchildren, Destiny Hall, Bryce Miller, Darrin Johnson, Jr., Joseph Johnson, Maggie Johnson, Sarah Johnson, Jayden Leday, Dominic Leday, and Mariah Leday.

Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Gordon Lalonde, Sr., and two brothers, Roger Dale Lalonde and Terry Lalonde.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the family to help defray the funeral expenses.

Visiting hours will be observed in the First Baptist Church of Opelousas on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
