Sylvia Bouy

OPELOUSAS- Funeral Services for Sylvia Ann Courville Bouy, age 71, will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Bouy passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at her residence in Arnaudville. Mrs. Bouy enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She won her battle with cancer and had been in remission for a year. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Lillie Marie Davis and husband, Rick of Grand Coteau; son, Harold Reece Pilcher of Hawaii; brothers, Ronald Courville of Melville, Dale Courville of Alabama and Lawrence Stoute, Jr. of Sunset; sisters, Diane Dietrich of Eunice and Venida Collette of Lottie. She is also survived by her two grandchildren Shelly Hurdle and Nick Hurdle and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Bouy; brother, Donald Courville and sister, Joyce Soileau.
