Grand Coteau On Friday, October 28, 2011 Simon Cornelius Broussard, loving husband, father, son and brother, passed away suddenly at the age 47. Simon will be forever remembered by his wife, Robin Marie SchneiderBroussard two sons, Andre Marc and George Whitney his mother, Barbara D. brother, James Brian and wife, Martha sister, Lori Anne two brothers in law James Dallas Schneider and wife, Maya, and William Paul Schneider and wife, Andrea sister in law, Kathy Ellen and husband, Jason Powenski 3 nephews, 9 nieces and numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, James Carroll his paternal grandparents, Joseph Whitney and Lillian G. Broussard and maternal grandparents Louis Cornelius and Yola G. Desselle.

Visitation will be observed at Sibille Funeral Home in Grand Coteau, LA from 9 am to 12:30 pm Saturday, November 5, 2011. A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 am. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated, at 1:00 pm in St. Charles Borromeo Church, Grand Coteau, with Rev. James Lambert presiding. Memorial donations in memory of Simon may be made to the Andre and George Broussard Childrens Fund care of Chase Bank, N.A.
