Silas Manuel

Opelousas- Memorial services for Silas Edward Manuel, age 12 days, will be held at 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Saturday, February 21, 2015, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Deacon Sammy Diesi will conduct the service.

Silas was a resident of Gonzales and passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2015, at Woman's Hospital in Baton Rouge.

Survivors include his parents, Victoria Manuel of Opelousas; and Daniel Laneaux of Sunset; half brother, Daniel Laneaux III of Sunset; maternal grandparents, Channy Manuel and Brain Manuel of Opelousas; paternal grandparents, Troy and Laurie Laneaux of Sunset; maternal great grandparents, Donald and Jackie Bordelon of Opelousas; and Rebecca Cunningham of Houston, TX; and his godmother and maternal aunt, Taylor Manuel of Opelousas.

Preceded in death by his maternal great grandparent, Vern Edward Manuel.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Saturday, February 21, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
