Port BarreA Catholic service will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Port Barre at 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 4, 2012. Rite of Committal and interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery with Fr. Daniel Picard officiating.
It is with great sadness that the family of Sidney J. Landry, age 64, announces his passing on Thursday, November 1, 2012, at his home.

He was a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed his morning rides, his Sunday newspaper and most of all Sunday dinner. He was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He leaves behind his loving mother, Lorena Quebedeaux Landry of Washington, his children Carl Landry and his wife, Jessica of Melville, Christopher Landry of Leonville, Carolyn Guillory and her husband, Mark of Port Barre, and Crystal Landry and her fianc, Lucas Duplechain of Krotz Springs, his brothers, Andrew Landry and his wife, Cheryl of Washington, Ernest Landry and his wife, Judy of Port Barre, his sister, Rose Dupre and her husband, Hurlin of Port Barre, and eight grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father Willis Landry, and his wife, Alida Delahoussaye Landry.
A rosary will be prayed on Saturday evening at 6:30 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre beginning Saturday November 3, 2012 at 11:00 am until 10:00 pm. Visitation will continue in the funeral home from 8:00 am until 2:30 pm on Sunday November 4, 2012
