Port Barre Funeral services for Mr. Shirley John Hebert, 72, will be held at 10:00AM Saturday, March 17, 2007, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Port Barre. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Church Cemetery in Port Barre.

The Reverend Nicky Trahan will conduct the services.

Mr. Hebert, a native of Opelousas and resident of Fordoche, died on Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Baton Rouge General Hospital.

Survivors include: wife Gladys Quebedeaux Hebert of Fordoche;

son, Jimmy Hebert of Fordoche;

daughter, Carolyn Hayes of Baton Rouge;

4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Mr. Hebert was preceded in death by his parents J. Preston Hebert and Amy LeJeune Hebert; one daughter, Brenda G. Hebert.
