Sheila Ortego Dupre

Opelousas – A Memorial Mass will be held for Sheila Dupre on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Angels in Opelousas. Msgr. Keith DeRouen will celebrate the Mass.

Sheila, age 61, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. Sheila was known for loving and spoiling her kids and grandchildren to the fullest. She enjoyed spending time cooking and sitting outside watching her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends and all who knew and loved her.

Sheila is survived by her husband, Billy Dupre of Opelousas, daughters, Nakisha Dupre of Opelousas, and Amy Dupre Ortego and her husband, Jason of Opelousas, brothers, Tommy Ortego (Wilma), Timmy Ortego (Liz), Russell Ortego (Laura), Tony Ortego (Juli), sisters, Debbie Broussard (Bobby), Peggy Faul (Mike), Stacy Richard (Ronald), and JoAnn Castania (Jimmy) all of Opelousas, six grandchildren, Kaleb, Tatum, Jaida, Laken, Adalynn, and Macy.

Sheila is preceded in death by her parents, Able and Loretta Ortego, sister, Diane Crader, maternal grandparents, Thomas and Ament LeJeune, paternal grandparents, Amar and Tillya Ortego.
