Sharlene Broussard

Opelousas- A Private Memorial Service will be held for, Sharlene Burianek Broussard, at a later date.

Sharlene, age 52, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018 at her residence. Her hobbies included scrapbooking and collecting antiques. She enjoyed spending time outside riding her trike and going to the beach. Sharlene loved having a good time and enjoyed pampering herself with a fresh manicure. But most of all she cherished time spent with her grandchildren. Sharlene will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Darrell Broussard; daughter, Kristen Menard; grandchildren, Kortlyn Volkmann, Reese Menard and Thad Menard; cousin and bestfriend, Susan Larsen; nieces and nephews, Katie Burns, Kevin Darbonne II, Sara Darbonne and Ashley Darbonne; and her beloved dog, Bamm.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Susan Burianek; her brothers, Ricky "Bones" Burns and Dana Burns; and her sister, Tamara Burns.
