Seville Bergeron, Sr.

Opelousas-A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Seville Bergeron, Sr. will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, in St. Leo Catholic Church in Leonville, LA. Rite of Committal and interment will follow in the St. Leo Cemetery, with Fr. Ken Domingue as the celebrant.
Mr. Seville a lifelong resident of Leonville, died on Sunday, January 11, 2015, at his daughter residence, at the age of 90. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching wrestling, bar- b-queing and telling stories about things that happened long time ago.
Music will be provided by Debbie LeBlanc and Phyllis Simar.

Survivors include his children, Betty Miller of Leonville, Judy Robin of Opelousas, Olida Credeur, of Leonville, Marie Taylor and her husband, John Ray of Leonville, Seville Bergeron, Jr. and his wife, Beatrice of Leonville, Robert L. Bergeron and his wife, Vivian, of Opelousas, Rodney Bergeron and his wife, Cindy of Leonville, seventeen grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren and fourteen great great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Marie Lalonde Bergeron, his wife, Clemetine Richard Bergeron, his son n laws, George Miller, James Robin and Aleus Credeur, his brothers, Yves, Oras, Louis and Alvin Bergeron, his sisters, Louise David, Sable Caillier, Elsie Mae Arnaud and Mable Courville, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.

Visiting hours will be held in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Tuesday, January 13, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. On Wednesday, the funeral home will reopen at 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
