PORT BARRE– A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Sandra Gail Hebert on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Fr. Clint Trahan will celebrate the Mass. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre.

Sandra Gail, a resident of Port Barre, entered into eternal rest at the age of 64, on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Opelousas General Health System.

Sandra Gail worked at Back In Time in Opelousas for over ten years, it was there that she met many people and made a lot of friends. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Sandra Gail enjoyed gathering her friends and family for a home cooked meal. She will be remembered as a free spirit who cherished spending time with her family. Sandra Gail will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.

Sandra Gail is survived by daughters, Shelby Ortego, Monica Guidroz and partner, Brody Guillory, Melissa Pitre and husband, Ryan; brothers, Simon Hebert III and wife, Simone, Donald Hebert and wife, Liz, Ricky Herbert and wife Janice; sisters, Charlene Gurule  and Tracy Noel and husband, Kevin; 11 grandchildren, Devin Suire, Shawna Suire, Kassie Suire, Jazlyn Williams, Lexi Williams, Layla Daigle, Kayleigh Daigle, Kali Edwards, Makayla Guidroz, Landon Edwards and Jaxon Pitre; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Sandra Gail is preceded in death by her father, Simon Hebert, Jr.; mother, Barbara Castille Vidrine and step-father, Blackie Vidrine.

Pallbearers will be Simon Hebert III, Ricky Hebert, Ryan Pitre, Brody Guillory, Josh Hebert and Ricky Hebert, Jr.
