Port Barre- A Funeral Service will be held for Sandra Kay Fontenot on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 12:00 noon in the First Baptist Church in Port Barre. Visitation will be held in the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Benji Richard will conduct the service. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Port Barre.

Sandra, age 62, a resident of Port Barre, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Tony Duplechain; 2 grandchildren, Ryan and Gavin Duplechain; daughter, Dana Miller and husband, Shane of Port Barre; brother, Collins Nicholas Stoute and spouse, Patricia Kemp; and sisters, Gloria Borskey of Brusly and Faye Fontenot and husband, Tim of Opelousas.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald "T-Ray" Fontenot; parents, Collins Joseph Stoute and Amy Angelle Stoute; sister, Esther Curtis; and brother, Johnny Lee Stoute.

Pallbearers will be Leon Boudreaux, Deon Boudreaux, Brian Lee, Ricky Parr, DJ Hubbard and Collins Nicholas Stoute III. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Duplechain, Ryan Duplechain and Gavin Duplechain.
