Sandra Castille

Opelousas Funeral services for Ms. Sandra Faye Castille, age 56, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2012, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Opelousas. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Park. Msgr. Keith DeRouen will celebrate the Mass.

Sandra Castille was a resident of Opelousas. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at Evangeline Oaks Nursing Home in Carencro. She loved being outdoors and spending time with people. In her spare time, she loved reading and watching LSU and New Orleans Saints Football games.

She is survived by her mother, Wordna Guillory Castille of Opelousas one son, Michael Lanclos, Jr. and wife, Dreama of Opelousas two daughters, Tonya Lanclos Marcombe and husband, Kyle of Youngsville and Kimberly Lanclos of Opelousas brother, Scotty Castille and wife, Tammy of White Settlement, TX sister, Melissa Castille of Opelousas and 7 grandchildren.

Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Ray Allen Castille, Sr. brother, Ray Allen Castille, Jr. and sister, Peggy Castille Vidrine.

Pallbearers will be Michael Lanclos, Jr., Kyle Marcombe, Elvis Nguyen, Azie Nguyen, Ray Nguyen, and Christopher Dejean. Honorary pallbearers will be William Lanclos, Michael Lanclos III, Cleveland Lanclos, Kyle Marcombe II, and Calib Marcombe.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 3, 2012, from 2 pm to 10 pm in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas. On Saturday, visitation will continue from 8 am until 10:30 am in the funeral home.

A Rosary service will be held at 6:30 pm on Friday evening in the funeral home.
