Ruby Reviere

Opelousas Funeral services for Ruby Reviere, age 75, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, with a Mass of Christian Burial in the St. Bridget Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the St. Bridget Cemetery.
Fr. Ted Broussard will officiate the Mass.
Ruby was a native of Grand Coteau, and was a long time resident of Lawtell. She died on Sunday, March 27, 2011, at her home in Lawtell.
Ruby enjoyed flower gardening, sewing, cooking for family and friends, she also loved shopping. She was a very caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother and was a person of deep catholic faith.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Reviere of Lawtell, her mother Frances Ivy Noel, of Breaux Bridge, sons Karl Andy Reviere and his wife, Kim LaCour, of Carencro, Daniel Reviere of Lawtell, and Mitchell Todd Reviere of Brousard, daughters Monica Reviere Olivier and husband, Wendel of Lawtell, and Alison Reviere Bernard and husband, David of Broussard, brothers Ivy Noel of Scott, LA., and John Noel of Carencro, LA., sisters Joyce Martinez of Texas, Melinda Courville of Carencro, LA., and Cathy Leger of Carencro, LA., eight grandchildren Claire and Jacob Reviere, Holly, Michelle, Rachel and Jonathan Olivier, Nathan and Kate Bernard.
She was preceded in death by her father Evans Noel and one grandson Joshua Olivier.
A rosary will be recited on Monday evening in the funeral home at 7:00 p.m.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Monday, March 28, 2011, from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. On Tuesday, visitation will continue in the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
