Ruby Frazier

Opelousas- Private Graveside Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Glover Frazier, age 84, will be held at Southern Heritage Cemetery in Pelham, Alabama.
Mrs. Frazier was born in Conroe, Texas, and was a long-time resident of Opelousas. She died on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, LA. Mrs. Frazier was a teller in the banking industry for many years.
Survivors include two granddaughters, Abby Forrester and Rachel Forrester and their guardian, Kelli Whipple, all of Helena, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Weldon Frank (W. F.) Frazier; her parents, Larkin M. Glover and Mary Maud Reese Glover; one daughter, Carol Frazier Forrester; and son-in-law, Ben Forrester.
Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Thursday, July 23, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
A Prayer service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday evening in the funeral home.
The family would like to extend thanks to special friends of the family, Rock and Mary Laviolette , and Cliff and Dannie Ardoin for their wonderful love and support which was given to Mrs. Ruby during her time of need.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mrs. Ruby to the charity of your choice.
