Grand CoteauA Mass of Christian Burial for Rose Marie Couvillion will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Grand Coteau, LA. Rite of Committal and interment will follow in the St. Charles Cemetery.
Rose Marie Couvillion of Sunset, LA, passed away peacefully at her residence on December 19, 2014, at the age of 86.
Rose will be remembered for her deep and abiding faith, her devotion to family and home and her love of friends, flowers, and especially cooking. Her pursuit of excellence in everything she did has left a lasting and wonderful impression on everyone who knew and loved her. Rose was active in both her community and church for many years. She was a member of the Sunset Garden Club and the Ladies Altar Society at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
Rose is survived her sister, Clara Primeaux her brotherinlaw, Raymond Delores Couvillion her nieces, Nancy Robert Wiener, Karen Primeaux, Patricia Broussard, and Juanita Fox and nephews, William W. Elsa Primeaux, and James Dottie Miller.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kermit Coach Couvillion after 60 years of marriage, and her parents, Tilfred and Carita Miller.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee or to the charity of your choice.
The family requests that friends gather at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Grand Coteau on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, for visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
