Roger Dupre

Opelousas -A memorial service for Roger Dupre will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2016, in Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas, LA.

Roger was a resident of Plaisance, he died on Sunday, November 6, 2016, at Our Lady of Lourdes in Lafayette, at the age of 66. Roger enjoyed spending tine with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time in his chicken yard. He enjoyed hunting and spending time at the camp with the guys. Roger enjoyed fishing with his son. He was a talented carpenter who was known by many and a friend to all who knew him.

Survivors include wife, Gwen Fontenot Dupre of Plaisance, his children, Todd Dupre and his wife, Emily of Grand Prairie, and Tracy Fontenot and her husband, Toby of Carencro, brother, Winnis Dupre and his wife, Melda of Plaisance, sister, Rita Fontenot and her husband, Norman of Ville Platte, five grandchildren, Dillon, Tristen, Carley, Dustin and Holden, and two great grandchildren, Annalise and Raelyn.

Preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Nita Bordelon Dupre, brothers, Vernon and Floyd Dupre.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016, from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas.

A Rosary service will be prayed at 1:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel.
