Robert Nix

Houston, Texas - A grave side service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 26, 2020, in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Houston, Texas.

Robert, age 85, a resident of Opelousas, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 21, 2020, at Opelousas General Health System.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dorothy Mae Carriere Nix of Opelousas, son, Jimmy Ray Sides and his wife, Kim of Spring Texas, brother, William Nix of Florida, grandchildren, Christopher and Michelle Sides and one great grandchild, Elly Sides.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Thelma Nix.
