Robert "Timmy" Courville

Opelousas- Funeral Services for Robert "Timmy" Courville, age 54, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2015, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Rev. Fth. James Brady will officiate the service.
Timmy was a resident of Opelousas and passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015, at his residence in Opelousas. Timmy was a truck driver by trade and worked for H. Brown Trucking Co. for 10 years and also ran his own trucking company. Th enjoyed fishing, camping and vacationing with his family and friends. Timmy is going to be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife, Sara Penland of Opelousas; son, Daniel Penland of Lafayette; daughter, Danielle Penland of Philadelphia, Pa.; mother, Lucy Courville of Opelousas; brothers, Ronny Courville and wife Stacy of Opelousas, Kenneth Courville and wife Susan of Opelousas and Fred Courville and wife Becky of Oklahoma City, OK.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ferdie Courville; paternal grandparents, Aluse and Nora Courville and maternal grandparents Alcee and Marita Doucet.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Thursday, February 19, 2015, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Rosary service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday and the Funeral home will reopen Friday at 8:00 a.m until time of Service
