Opelousas – A Funeral Service will be held for Mrs. Robbie Royer on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas. Visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Perry Hubbs will conduct the service. Burial will follow in Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas.

Robbie, age 80, a resident of Opelousas, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Opelousas General Health System surrounded by her loving family.

Robbie enjoyed life to the fullest. She enjoyed spending time having “patio therapy” with her daughters and friends. Robbie also loved traveling with her daughters. She worked for Dr. Freddie Fandal for over 20 years at his clinic in Port Barre. Robbie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by daughters, Lisa Royer Lee and, Juli Royer Ortego and husband, Tony all of Opelousas; grandchildren, Eric Ortego of Dallas, TX, Cody Lee and wife, Andrea of Gonzales, Tricia Saucier and husband, John Saucier, Jr. of Opelousas; great-grandchildren, Laila Boone, Easton Ortego, Kalyn Saucier, John Saucier III, Audrey Lee and Parker Lee.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Luther James Royer; parents, Robert and Elee Kingrey.

Pallbearers will be Tony Ortego, Cody Lee, Dr. Freddie Fandal, Jason Vickers, Kerry Comeaux and Andrew Luneau.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Mrs. Robbie’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Freddie Fandal, Dr. Eliza Tate, and all who have extended their love, support and compassion; their love for her will always be deeply cherished.
