Richard Truax, Sr

Port BarreFuneral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 27, 2013, at Courtableau Baptist Church of Port Barre. Interment will follow in the Krotz Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, for Mr. Richard Truax, Sr.
Rev. Keith Davidson will officiate the services.
Richard was a longtime resident of Port Barre. He passed away on Friday, October 25, 2013, at his home, at the age of 69.
Richard was a long time member of the Courtableu Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, working in his garden, and spending time with his family and friends. Richard will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his companion, Mary Lou Berner of Port Barre, his son, Richard Truax, and wife, Dana of Port Barre, daughter, Bobbie Wimberley and husband, Don of Cankton, sister, Lydia Bellemin Jones and her husband, James of Carencro, three grandchildren, two nieces and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by mother, Agnes Bellemin and his step father, Octave Tave Bellemin.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre on Sunday, October 27, 2013, from 8 a.m. until 1:30p.m.
