Rev. John T. Noel

Henderson Funeral services for Rev. John T. Noel, age 79, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 14, 2008, in the Henderson Bible Church. Interment will follow in the Henderson Bible Church Cemetery.

Rev. Roland Fontenot Rev. Noel's son-in-law will officiate the services.

Rev. Noel was a resident of Cecilia, LA. He passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2008, at 12:27 p.m. at St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge. He was a craftsman by trade who enjoyed welding and building furniture. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He was also a Minister for 50 years and did missionary work in Louisiana and Texas. He started his ministry in the Henderson Bible Church. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Mrs. Jean Noel of Cecilia; two sons: Johnny Noel and wife, Shiela of Huntsville, TX; and Daniel Noel and wife, Tresha of Channelview, TX; three daughters: Peggy Browning and husband, Radnal of Lake Charles; Sandra Fontenot and husband, Rev. Roland of New Iberia; and Nancy Allemond and husband, Glen of Cecilia; one brother, Adam Noel, Jr. and wife, Marie of Groves, TX; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Adam Noel, Sr. and Ernestine Stelly Noel; and two brothers: Maxie Noel and Wilson Noel.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Henderson Bible Church on Sunday, July 13, 2008, from 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. On Monday, visitation will continue from 8 a.m. until the time of services.
