Rena Saurage

A Funeral Service for Rena Richard Saurage, will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jean Sanders will conduct the service. Burial will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.

Ms. Rena, age 92, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Rena enjoyed her continental and inter continual travels, but her best times were enjoyed with her family.

Survivors include her children, Paul Devillier and his wife, Gudy of Newport Oregan, Stephen Devillier and his wife, Brenda of Crowley, Ellen Dailey of Houston, TX., and Sheila Ray and her husband, Sonny of Opelousas, sister, Irene Richard Springer of Texas City, twelve grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Olan and Lois Anderpont Richard, her husband, Cecil Saurage, daughter, Mary Dianne Devillier, sisters Effie Smith Lanclos, Ester Richard, Eula Janice and Eldine Jagneaux Credeur.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will reopen on Thursday at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
A prayer service will be at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel.
