Raymond Taylor

Port Barre- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for, Raymond Joseph "Noo" Taylor, on Friday, February 22, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Port Barre. Fr. Clint Trahan will celebrate the Mass. Rite of Committal will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Raymond, age 81, a resident of Port Barre passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019. He loved his family, and cooking.

He is survived by children, Ramona Olivier and her husband, Jeremy, and Adaline Fruge all of Port Barre, sister, Georgia Lagrange of Arnaudville, grandchildren, Tyson Sonnier and his wife, Kristen, Victoria Sonnier and her husband, David, Kylie Coates and her husband, Jerry, Aaron Noel and his wife, Marisa, Alex Olivier and Tori Olivier, and eight great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Guillory Taylor, and his parents, Cyprien and Artimis Taylor.

The family requests visitation be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. till time of service. A rosary will be recited at 1:15 p.m.

A special thanks to Dr. Kirk Elliot, J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home and the staff who cared for him at Opelousas General Health System. And a special thanks to Delta Compression and staff that dearly loved him.
