Ray Henry

OPELOUSAS- Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until time of service in the Sibille Funeral Home.

Ray, age 73, a resident of Opelousas, entered into eternal rest on September 29, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his family.

Ray served his country proudly in the United States Army as a Specialist. He enjoyed spending time outdoors camping and going fishing. Ray also loved watching WWE and working on vehicles. However what he loved the most was making memories with his family and enjoying everything life had to offer. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Ray is survived by his wife, Wanda Henry of Opelousas; sons, Scottie Henry and wife, Shelly of Opelousas, Billy Henry and wife, Marie of Opelolusas, Clifton Henry and wife, Lauren of Sunset; daughters, Nicole Hook and husband, Blake of Mire, Kristine Gaspard and husband, Robert of Opelousas; step-daughter, Amy Tucker of Opelousas; his niece who was like a daughter, Debbie Spencer; brother, Lee Roy Henry and wife, Kitty of Opelousas; 21 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Dorothy Henry; son, Owen Henry; sister, Edna Vidrine; grandson, Dustin Henry; sister-in-law, Martha Gresstt; and 2 nephews, Kenneth and Paul Vidrine.
