Opelousas- Funeral services for Raven Roberts, age 4, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2009, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park.

Rev. Benny Repond will officiate the service.

Raven was born in Beaumont, Texas, and a resident of Opelousas. She died on Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at her home. She was a very wonderful child who touched everyone that she came in contact with and will be sadly missed by all.

Mourning her death yet cherishing her memories are her mother, Trudy Chautin Roberts of Opelousas; her father, Robbie Roberts of Church Point; one sister, Kameron Roberts of Opelousas; her maternal grandparents, Melba Chautin and companion, Don Thibodeaux, of Opelousas; and paternal grandparents, John Roberts and wife, Lee of Jasper, Texas. She also has a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Robbie Roberts, Bruce Robison, Duke Barras, and Johnny Louviere.

Preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Paul Chautin.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Complete Home Health, especially Darlene, Monique, and Addie for their excellent care and wonderful support that they provided to Raven.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Saturday, June 6, 2009, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
