Randall Morain

Opelousas- A Funeral Service will be held for, Mr. Randall Morain, on Friday, September 21, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Deacon Dwayne Joubert will conduct the service. Burial will follow in Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas.

Mr. Morain, age 69, a resident of Opelousas, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at his home in Opelousas surrounded by his family.

Mr. Morain served his country proudly in the United States Marines Corps during the Vietnam era. He enjoyed spending time outdoors tending to his lawn and riding his golf cart. He was well organized and loved journaling in his free time. Mr. Morain will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Gloria Lanclos; daughters, Tracey Moran and husband, Conrad, and Stacey Courville and husband, Ronny; brother, Sonny Morain; sisters, Judith Delcon and Christy Morain; 5 grandchildren, Dylan Courville, Cameron Moran, Devon Courville, Wesley Moran and Preston Moran; and 1 great-grandchild, Paisley Courville.

He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Morain; and daughter, Amanda Morain.

The family requests visitation be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas. The Rosary will be recited by Deacon Dwayne Joubert at 6:00 p.m. The funeral home will reopen on Friday morning at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.

Pallbearers will be Ronny Courville, Conrad Moran, Devon Courville, Cameron Moran, Preston Moran and Wesley Moran. Honorary pallbearer will be Tommy Ryder.
