Randall Randy A. Fontenot

Opelousas-Funeral services for Randall Andrew Fontenot, known to many as Randy,age 55, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2009, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the St. Bridget Cemetery in Lawtell.

Rev. Perry Hubbs will officiate the services.

Randy was a native of Lawtell and a resident of Washington. He died on Sunday, September 13, 2009, at his home. He was retired from Standard Fittings as an Assistant Foreman.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Joy Lafleur Soileau and stepfather, Vernal J. Soileau, Sr.; two brothers: Keith W. Fontenot and wife, Genise; and Gary F. Fontenot and wife, Alison, all of Opelousas; one sister, Teresa F. Hawkins and husband, Paul of Pleasant Grove, AL; and Darlene F. Stepp and husband, David of Opelousas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph J. Fontenot, Sr.; brother, Ralph Butch Fontenot, Jr.; grandparents: Flynn and Leslie Lafleur, and Aldus and Hattie Fontenot.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Tuesday, September 15, 2009, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
