Pierre Noel Trosclair

Opelousas Funeral services for Mr. Pierre Noel Trosclair, 38, were held at 2: 00 PM on Tuesday, March 24, 2009, with a Mass of Christian Burial in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas. Interment followed in the Bellevue Memorial Park. Father Angelo Cremaldi will celebrated the Mass.

Mr. Trosclair, a native and resident of Opelousas, died on Sunday, March 22, 2009 at Opelousas General Health System.

Mr. Trosclair was a loving husband, father, brother, and son. He was also a network analyst for Stratos. He enjoyed watching motocross racing, riding dirt bikes and motorcycles, and playing golf. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lauri Emonet Trosclair of Sunset; one daughter, Madeline Anne Trosclair of Lafayette; his mother, Mrs. Sybil Soileau Trosclair of Opelousas; four sisters: Janise Maraist of Crowley, Renee' Ortego of Lake Charles, Rachel Trosclair of Minnesota, and Monique Rivette and husband, Nicky of Leonville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ronnie Emonet, Sr. and Marcia Emonet of Opelousas; brothers and sisters in-law: Ronnie and wife, Prissy Emonet of New Orleans; Kristin and wife, Haley Emonet of Opelousas; and Eric and wife, Blaire Emonet of Opelousas; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Trosclair was preceded in death by his father, Robert K. Sonny Trosclair; brother, Robert K. Trosclair II; paternal grandparents, Jules Sidney Trosclair, Sr. and Maude Richard Trosclair; and maternal grandparents: John Soileau and Mable Moran Soileau.

Visiting hours will be observed on Monday, March 23, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. -9:00p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas. On Tuesday, visitation will continue from 8 a.m. until time of services. A rosary service will be recited at 7:00p.m. on Monday in the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Mark Tolson, Troy Fontenot, Charlie Boagni, Nicky Rivette, Ronnie Emonet and Kristin Emonet. Honorary Pallbearers will be Scott Plonsky and Eric Emonet.
