Peter Guillory, Jr.

Opelousas – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Peter Guillory, Jr. on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. in the St. Leo The Great Catholic Church. Fr. Daren Eldridge will celebrate the Mass. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Leo Cemetery in Leonville.

Peter, age 80, a resident of Leonville, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Opelousas General Health System with his loving family by his side.

Peter is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Marie Stelly Guillory of Leonville, daughter, Bonnie Grimmett and her husband, Dwain of Leonville, sister, Shirley Ardoin of Baker, LA., grandchildren, Kelly Jenkins, Matthew Guillory, Garrett Guillory, Naomi Dupre, Brittany Grimmett, and Brandy Boudreaux, and eleven great grandchildren.

Peter is preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Ruby Guillory, Sr. son, Clyde Guillory, daughter, Melanie Guillory, sister, Annie Olinde.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas.
