Peter Domingeaux, Sr.

Opelousas - A Funeral Service for Peter Domingeaux, Sr. will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2020, at the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service in the funeral home. Pastor Benny Reppond will conduct the service. Burial will follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Grand Coteau.

Mr. Domingeaux, age 79, a resident of Opelousas, entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 6, 2020, at his home.

Mr. Domingeaux was a member of the Labor Union for 50 years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of ­­57 years, Anna Mae Domingeaux; sons, Peter Domingeaux, Jr. and wife, Susan, Joseph Arthur Domingeaux and wife, Tammy, and Ricky Domingeaux; daughters, Linda Domingeaux, Elaine Domingeaux, and Sheryl Lazare and husband, David; brother, Joseph P. Domingeaux; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Domingeaux and Ella Lewis; daughter, Madeline Domingeaux; granddaughter, Rochelle Domingeaux; sisters, Mildred Domingeaux, Virginia Anderson and Gustavia Mayfield; and brother, Stanley Mayfield.

Pallbearers will be Emanuel Lazare, Samuel Lazare, Bryant Ledet, John Ledet, Ricki Ledet, Russell Charles and Deiontre Charles.
